As you can see, I found some wider rims at the swap meet that match my rims. Unbelievable find for $60 and another $60 for the lightly used slicks I put on them.

You can see the few little rust holes I found during disassembly. All of them are under seals so a little rust treatment and some body repair filler and they will be out of site and protected.

I started priming the cab and bed. It has been a slow process seeing as how it is very hot here, I work 10+ hours a day and this is my first time doing body work.

I used a rattle can of self etching primer on all the bare spots I had on the cab. To save some money I use a can of epoxy primer I had donated to prime the bed. Most of the bed was sanded down to bare metal due to all the chips in the paint. Few little dents in it but it is a truck bed so I am not too concerned. I then coated the epoxy with some highbuild 2k primer. I just have a couple little dents I do wanna fill in the cab and bed and it will be ready for base coat when it shows up in the mail.

Well I found the color I like. '95-'97 Dodge Viper Pearl Blue Metallic. I've got the cab, bed and engine painted. The engine and cab are back on the frame. The bed is just sitting there. It will need to be removed several times to allow access to brake lines, gas tank and wires.

I found a reasonably priced set of electric water pump friendly accessory brackets from a company called Alan Grove Components. They had them in a few days. $130 after shipping. I would of cost about $600 through March Performance. I got the fuel cell repainted and mounted, along with the battery tray and battery cables. I finally finished the custom dash that I built from scratch from aluminum. It wasn't easy but I think the payoff was well worth it.

It's been awhile since I updated the site, but here are some recent photos. I have the seats mounted finally. I got in my euro styles head lights and side markers and I got my old grill put back in for now. You will also notice I have started construction of my center console. Wiring is going slowing only because I am waiting to buy the items I need to wire. I am short the tail lights now.
