Got the motor out today.
There she is in all her glory. 406 sbc 410+hp 465+tq. I have plans to stroke her to a 434 while she is out.
I moved the chassis outside so I could clean it up with the pressure washer and sandblaster.
From this position it allowed me to move the engine hoist under the chassis and remove the cab.
Cab off. Next weekend I'll start cleaning an blasting and hopefully painting.
Still waiting on the tax return to order my 4 link suspension for the rear.
I am hoping I can find some offset rims I can use without cutting the axels down. I would like to keep the rims I have and have a wider set for the rear for race day.
